On September 28th Sweden’s “Conservative” Prime Minister, Ulf Kristersson, gave a speech about the incredibe wave of violence sweeping the nation, he said, in part:
”A 25-year-old woman went to bed yesterday – a perfectly normal night – but never woke up again. This morning she was killed in an explosion in Uppsala. My thoughts are with her and her family.
A week ago, a 70-year-old man went to a bar in Sandviken to hang out with his friends. He was never allowed to come home again. He was blind and he was shot to death. My thoughts also go out to him and his family.
And my thoughts go to the young man in Uppsala who was murdered one early morning in a stairwell two weeks ago, on his way to his job in home care.
My thoughts are also with the three children – 13, 14 and 14 years old – who were found executed in forest areas outside Stockholm. Their parents have been forced to experience every parent’s worst nightmare.
Now more and more children and completely innocent people are affected by the gross violence. I cannot emphasize enough how serious the situation is. Sweden has never seen anything like it before. No other country in Europe sees anything like it.”
